Well, at the prompting and suggestion of a great friend, and amazing writer...I find myself typing the first of what I'm sure will be many words, about my life. I'm not so certain that anyone will ever read these words, or even that I'll ever WANT anyone to read them...but for me, I suppose this is my little way of documenting my reality - as mundane, and often painful as it may seem to me.
So, I really don't know where to start...? Normally, I sit here at night...checking emails, peeking in on Facebook...to get the latest and greatest on those whom I'm closest to...what a strange but lovely thing...Facebook. Who would have thought...? I remember a time not long ago...when I'd rent a suitcase side video player from the local grocery store to watch a now obsolete 'VHS' movie! I remember managing to get all the way through college without a computer...and I lived the greater portion of my life without a 'cell phone.' Times have changed. We date online. We talk online. We gather information and study online....purchase vitamins and music....online! I guess it falls into place, that I should be somehow...'blogging'...placing my minds thoughts and my hearts passions on...not paper, but...on some cyberpad...to float around...be read, or not...?! Life is endlessly interesting....even the parts and pieces I tend to take for granted...
So...beginning today...I will attempt to track and record my thoughts, feelings, experiences....(watch out!) or the next bit of time....

  1. Hey Raven... found your blog. It appears the type is black on black, so I can't read it. I love the fish, though!

  2. Okay- I highlighted it and was able to read... If you go into settings you can change the type to white or whatever color you desire. And yes, I remember a time when I had NO computers (all though college and beyond that) and I swore I'd never carry a cell phone. Times are changing way too fast in our lifetime, and I can't even imagine when it'll be like in ten years.

As for writing, I get so much more out through typing than with pen on paper. I hate saying that because I love the old paper & pen combo, but I wouldn't be writing as much without this nifty tool. It's far more forgiving with the delete and backspace keys ;)

    Have fun!
